RELAX
Set in a wild, mineral environment, in the heart of France's largest nature reserve, the UP terroir covers 46 hectares of vines, all AOP Côtes de Provence and in organic conversion. The Syrah grape flourishes here. Our teams craft expressive, delicate wines.
Referred to the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins de Provence (CIVP) l'Ultimate Provence in the heart of a nature reserve and bordered by a large forest of holm oaks, the vineyard is characterized by shallow soil on an impermeable sandstone slab. This terroir is nourished by a rich humus composed of oak leaves and vine shoots. The finest Cinsault vines are grown on hillsides, giving them exceptional exposure. Nearby, on the lower slopes, is a fine parcel of Rolle, a grape variety renowned for its fruity notes of citrus and pear. The "Grande Pièce", a magnificent plot on the plateau, is entirely dedicated to Syrah. This grape gives the wines strong aromas of violets and red and black fruits.
Finally, on the "Perrono" plot - named after the family who planted the first vines on the estate in the mid-twentieth century - young white and black Grenache have been added to some very fine Syrah already planted there. All this makes Ultimate Provence a unique terroir.
